Account Deletion / Right to Erasure

Last updated: 25 May 2026

You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”) under Article 17 of the CCPA/CPRA and applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

How to request deletion

  1. Email privacy@retailssup.com from the address registered on your account.
  2. Use the subject line Account Deletion Request.
  3. Include your full name and any order numbers you can recall.

If we cannot verify your identity from the email address, we may ask for additional information before processing.

What we delete

  • Your account profile (name, addresses, phone, password hash)
  • Your marketing preferences and email subscriptions
  • Support correspondence linked to your account
  • Saved cart contents and wishlist items

What we must keep

CCPA/CPRA Article 17(3) recognises exceptions to the right to erasure. We retain the following for the periods listed:

  • Order records and Sales receipts — 7 years (the IRS and IRS recordkeeping requirements (26 U.S.C. § 6001)). After deletion, these records are pseudonymised so they no longer identify you personally (e.g. name replaced by an internal customer ID, payment data already not stored).
  • Records subject to a legal hold — for the duration of any litigation or regulatory investigation.

Timing

We action erasure requests within 1 calendar month of receipt, in line with CCPA/CPRA. Complex requests may be extended by a further 2 months, in which case we will tell you within the first month and explain why.

If you change your mind

Once deletion is complete it cannot be reversed. You can of course create a new account at any time.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your erasure request, you can complain to the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov.
